Doing work and fun at the same time

On Friday 14th I when to the mountains with a good friend of mine, his translator and my parents. Wow! it is so good to go with out translating. There is so much to see there, people to great, kids to talk and amazing views to watch.

AMC one of the NC partners has a special program in the mountains to bless the bank land "Nueva Jerusalem" but also to give 10 new latrines for 10 families over 20 who own the "Nueva Jerusalem" bank land. We have a very nice program, they started on time, with an amazing weather and with the participation of all the beneficiaries of the bank land and some people from AMC. My dad who is a pastor did one of the three pastoral intervention and is very nice that at his 82, he still praying and blessing kids, parents and the land for future generations. We have songs, songs and more songs and at the end of the program we when to the ribbon cutting of one of the latrines 150mts away and when we came back we had lunch. Time to talk and share more about the program, the people and a good meal. wow! with friends. We left the bank land at 1:30 for 4 hours of travel.

Yesterday I when to Chinandega and el Viejo again with my parents but for a different purpose. The 18th of May is a very meaningful day for people who has HIV-Aids and specially for leaders, pastors and voluntaries part of the Christian Mobilization Project from NC. This was the opportunity to spread the real truth about Aids in Nicaragua along with the Ministry of Health of Nicaragua and Non Government Organization. I was very happy to see a lot of people with brochures on the streets giving away and some others reading right where they were working, doing errands or just chatting with someone. We like christian we need to spread the word of God in every situation. Chinandega is very important city to do this mobilization.

The fun part was that I saw my friend Andrea. She left on July last year for more school (another college degree). We meet her at Leon and we when and have a good Carne Asada con tajadas at La Estacion. ha ha ha. Well! grill red meat of chicken or pork. We have some time to up-date each other but we would need more time to really up-date each other.

Ladies retreat at Montelimar / Retiro de Mujeres en Montelimar

I was invite it by a friend to go to a ladies retreat last weekend and I had such a wonderful time with a lot of ladies. Two things in common our love for the Lord and all of us spoke English. We had a great speaker and amazing music. What a team. It was a time to relax, to learn, to make new friends and to eat. (wow! a lot of food).
Old friend Beverly. She has been inviting to go to the retreat for many years. It was a huge surprise for her to see me at the lobby of the hotel. She didn't know I was going to be at the retreat. ha ha ha.
Two friends and roomies Kim and Maria. Kim is going to EUA and I m very sad but her family need her more than us. God bless her trip. Maria and amazing woman of prayer, she would wake up early in the morning to go for a walk, swing and to spend some time with the Lord.
New friend Jullie. She is a NCA mother, a great lady that share her life with me and I am very bless to call her friend and a sister in Christ.
Young friend Cheree, very soon she is going to get marry we have the opportunity to talk like siters. She is a blessing in my life and very sweet.
Mornings were amazing with the time to pray and share with friends more about the Lord. To be able to see the great view and walk on the shore.
I have some new things to practices and new friends to share more about the amazing work of the Lord in my life.

Fui invitada a un retiro de muejres por el fin de semana por una miga y tuve un tiempo maravilloso con una gran cantidad de mujeres. Dos cosas en comun el amor de Dios y que todas hablamos ingles. Una oradora excelente con musica maravillosa (un buen equipo). Era un tiempo para relajarse, aprender, hacer nuevas amigas y comer. (wow! y mucho)

Amiga antigua Beverly quien me ha invitado a venir al retiro en muchas ocaciones. Finalmente se hizo posible.Fue una gran sorpresa cuando me vio porque no le habia dicho nada que iria. ja ja ja

Dos amigas del trabajo y companeras de cuarto Kim y Maria. Kim pronto saldra a los EU y yo estoy triste, pero se que su familia la necesita mas. Dios bendiga su viaje. Maria una mujer de oracion. Ella se levantaba muy temprano de la manana para ir a caminar, nadar y para tener un precioso tiempo con el Senor.

Nueva amiga Jullie, ella es madre de una jovencita de NCA y es una mujer muy especial que compartio de su vida conmigo y estoy sumamente bendecida de llamarla amiga y hermana en Cristo.

Amiga joven Cheree ella muy pronto contraera nupcias y tuvimos la oportunidad de platicar y compartir como hermana. Ella es una bendicion en mi vida y es muy dulce.

Las mananas eran asombrosas con el tiempo para orar y compartir con otras amigas sobre el Senor. Tambien poder ver la vista tan linda y caminar a la orilla del mar.

Yo tengo algunas cosas nuevas para poner en practica y nuevas amigas con las cuales compartir sobre lo asombroso que es Dios en mi vida.

The Trinity Student

I meet an amazing person couple of months ago and we had work a lot on getting the right information on HIV-Aid, Buen Trato, the Faith Program and some other articles very crucial for NC and our work. Joanna help me to see the very sweet part of NA and help me to face some of my fears. Incredible! in such a young age.
She also introduce me to the new world of having a Blog. So let see how that work. I will write a little bit of some important things that happen in my life and I would let know people I love and care for me more about me, my family and Nicaland.

Great weekend / Buen fin de semana

Wow! I m very excited for this weekend. There are a lot of things that I would do and I believe I would be able to renew my self. New friends, new things, good meal but specially more and more from the Lord.

Wow! Estoy muy emocionada por este fin de semana que se avecina. Hay muchas cosas que estare haciendo y creo que podre renovarme. Nuevos amigos, nuevas cosas, buena comida pero especialmente mas y mas del Senor.
